ABOUT

“Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add ‘within the limits of the law’ because law is often but the tyrant’s will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.”
Thomas Jefferson

thelibertyfactor.com is an opinion, information, and education site designed and intended to encourage discussion of the impact of abusive government practices on individual freedom and to promote the return of constitutional (limited) government in the United States. It is presented in the tradition of maximum liberty with minimum rules. That is precisely what the Founders were seeking in their fight for independence from Britain and in crafting the Constitution. Here, we seek to maximize liberty by minimizing the rules so that subscribers are albe to freely involve and express themselves in discussions of the topics presented – from the Constitution to how government, today, affects their liberty – without fear of reprisal for their opinions or beliefs. Further, we have designed our site so as to maximize the privacy of our subscribers as far as possible.

We welcome all political views and comments with few restrictions. However, we still do have a few rules. You can read those in our Terms.

If you believe that government is the source of your liberty then you might want to find some other place where you will feel comfortable with others who believe as you do. You might not like it here.

On the other hand, if you’re open to people expressing their opinions and don’t have a need to require everyone else to conform to your viewpoint then you’re exactly the kind of person we’re looking for. So, subscribe, jump on in, mix it up, and meet some new people. Most of all, have fun.
